REVIEW - Day 16: Best Barbecue restaurant at Floresville, Texas. "Two Sawers BBQ & Catering" Mark @2sawersbbq as Places to go when in Floresville, TX

If you know us, there are 3 things we love as a family - Travel, Food and Karate (Tang Soo Do). Every where we go we tried to find new place and experience to add to our list of places to go or avoid. BBQ is always something we wanted to explore - the taste varies from region to region so it is always an adventure getting to know one.

Last week, we stayed at Floresville Texas. With a population of 6,448 I am not sure if this is a place where we could find a new place to eat. It was our third day here and I told hubby I want to eat at "Two Sawers BBQ & Catering" their ratings are perfect 5 star so I'm really excited to find out if it's really worth it.

Time checked 6:30pm, it says it closes at 7:30pm drove there and saw it is sold out. I didn't read the reviews about their time but I guess the sign "sold out" at 6:30pm is a great sign that this is the place to go. We planned to get there the next day, this time lunch time so we won't miss it. 

Waiting a day to try it is definitely worth it. The food is very yummy (and that's for a family who is very critical of the taste of their food - not salty or too sweet for our taste, it is just PERFECT!, no wonder they have such a high ratings for their restaurant.) 

I ordered  the 3 meat plate (Brisket, Saint Louis style pork ribs and fried cat fish - best fried cat fish I ever had so far) with the side of baked beans (delish) and corn spoon bread (never know what this was until I tried it -it was so yummy that I had to order one to-go haha)

The price I think is reasonable based on the other BBQ place that we've been. The staff is very friendly and made sure we are taken cared of. The place is comfy, clean and very welcoming.

Our verdict! A place to return whenever we are close to the area.

Oh, if you are driving an RV the parking lot is small and limited so plan to arrive there sooner so you get a spot if they allow it.
