One of our rule on buying gifts for our kids is that in needs to be the kind that will help them explore, discover and learn new things or experience.
Each year we set a budget for the gifts we can buy for them and this year we have $100 for each of them. We got this and a LOT of stuff last Black Friday sale (I think this one was $10 and I just checked amazon and it is selling from $24-39 yikes! what a steal when we got it!).
