Is it a meteorite or slag or what? Any rockhounds out there know?

My son found this rock that is much heavier than standard rock of same size, not magnetic and doesn't register on metal detector. Thinking of cutting it open to see what it looks like.
Any rockhounds out there know what it is or how determine what it is? It was found in
stream near Boulder Colorado.

Review of a New fun kid app. Panda Lu Baby Bear Care. Fun Baby games kid...

Today's App is the "Panda Lu Baby Bear World"

Arri discovered this baby kid app while watching Youtube Kids and asked me to download it today.

The FREE version is very limited because it only allows you to play certain part of the app and I have a feeling that after a few time playing this my 4 year old will get tired. I think the much younger one will enjoy it a little longer.
The Video above is what the FREE version looks like.

If you want to Unlock all + No ads is $4.99 but if you want to get just by type it is $1.99 Which I think is pretty expensive for a toddler game.

Note... my 4yo son asked me a lot of question why there is a need to change diapers or why is the bottom red or why do we need to use baby powder. It is a neat game but get ready to answer a few questions from your little one once you installed this lol.

#TBT A day to remember... Our trip to Copenhagen, Denmark

3 Years ago, we got invited to visit Europe for the first time. This is also the first time I travel out of US with my kids and the the first time without my husband. It's a mix of all kinds of emotions but I guess all that stands out was the fact that my 7yo son LOVES his time out there.

Up to this moment, he still says that his favorite trip was Europe and hope that someday we get to go back there and enjoy a longer stay (with our #VanLife I hope) but with his dad this time. We promised that we will not go for a trip unless we are a whole family - together!

The photo above was taken at the central downtown area of Copenhagen. After a very long walk to see the Little Mermaid statue, go to the famous downtown walk to see the colorful shops and see Hans Christian Andersen's old house - we decided to stop and let the kids play. The pigeons are very friendly and are so used to so many people that is why they are just there and not bothered with the boys.

The whole day worth of walk is not tiring at all, even with 2 little ones. The beauty, excitement and that dream come true feeling sure makes my whole day feels like a fairy tale came true.

I am always a dreamer and I am forever grateful that my husband feels the same way. We both love to travel and see different cultures, people, taste different cuisines and just enjoy life without hesitations.

Like this famous quote of my favorite author, I hope we continue to Explore. Dream. Discover!

“Enjoy life. There's plenty of time to be dead.”
- Hans Christian Andersen

Video of the day! My kids playing at the park.

One of their favorite things to do together is play outside, the best part is I don't have to worry about them and yell too much. Wish I can keep them this tiny.

How to make creamy Leche flan recipe

Most filipinos love this dessert and we do too. my daughter always ask me to make this every other month. the second time i come to visit her and her family she ask me to bring “llanera” (aluminum molding pan) to her so she can have an authentic looking leche flan she told me that they tried to look for it on asian market but cant find it so i brought some and that made her happy.

This Filipino dessert (Mexicans have their version too – “flan”) is very easy to make just follow my simple direction and you will have a tasty and creamy leche flan.

Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 15 egg yolks
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup plus 5 Tbsp sugar (you can add some more depending on your taste)
  • 5 llanera (you can use a 5 mini loaf pans OR 3 8 x 3 7/8 x 2 15/32″ loaf pans OR 8 small ramekin bowls)
  • steamer

Directions:

  1. Place water in your steamer and wait till it boils.
  2. While waiting for your water to boil sprinkle a tablespoon of sugar in each pan and place it in your oven toaster under toaster setting and let it melt but dont burn (or you can put it on your stove on a low setting or any way you want for as long as you melt the sugar and have it browned a little)  set aside and let cool.
  3. Mix all the left ingredients in a bowl and pour to the pan about 3/4 inch each (or just balance the amount on each pan) cover the top with aluminum foil make sure it is tight to avoid the water vapor goes inside.
  4. Once your water is boiling place the covered pans in your steamer – lower the heat, simmer for an hour.
  5. Let cool (we usually place the llanera(pan) inside the fridge till we are ready to eat it)
