I am excited to get my TOPLUS Yoga Mat (1/4 inch Pro Yoga Mat TPE Eco Friendly Non Slip Fitness Exercise Mat with Carrying Strap-Workout Mat for Yoga, Pilates and Floor Exercises) early this morning because we are about to go to our weekend outdoor exercise. It is nicely packaged and the material looks like of a high quality. I love that it is very long, enough to hold me and my boys if we are meditating outside. It is very light weight yet I can see that the construction will last us a long time.

I am in love with the color and the texture is really nice. My kids (9 & 4) and I have practiced stretching before we do our karate (Tang Soo Do) this morning - as soon as we got this package. And we are happy to report that it held pretty good. 

We have tiled floors and it does stick pretty good. They did an amazing job with the designed/texture of the bottom because it helps grip more on the ground.

If you like to do yoga right outdoors where there are little pebbles or not flat (grassy will be fine) then you might have a little problem since it is not that thick BUT if you do indoors and flat areas then this will be fine. I can even see us using this for our camping trips where the kids can use this as cushion while they are sleeping in the tent. Or if we go for a picnic and use this as our seat by the beach or at the park or when we go for fishing.

Over all I am very happy and pleased with my purchase. I know I just got it today but i am very confident that it will last for a very long time (luckily they stated on their page that they have 12 month warranty so just in case something happened I can easily return it - though I doubt that it will happen, it is a great peace of mind that I can have that option just in case).

Review... For us - the BEST vacuum food container goes to Thermos Stainless King 16 Ounce Food Jar with Folding Spoon

This is our favorite thermos product. My son have the black one that he used for 4yrs (kindergarten-3rd grade) and we decided it is time to buy him a new one since the paint is already chipping. I decided to buy the stainless one since I feel it will last him more than 4yrs (mind you the black one is still usable and we use it up to this day whenever we go for a bike ride or picnic or doing a long road trips or even when we go camping and hiking). 

My kids loves home cook meals and their food hot and this works perfectly for them. My 9yo can open it by himself (he starts opening it on his own at 7 so you can imagine how good this is for little ones). I boil water and prep it for 30min and then add his hot food in the morning (7:20am) and when it is time for lunch 12pm his food is still piping hot (when it is soup based) and hot-warm for other kind of food. I have tried the other products with wider mouth opening but his food gets colder easy and he always end up not eating them so we stick to this one. 

The foldable spoon is very helpful when he have soup or other food that requires spoon i just wish it is more of a SPORK so I dont have to give him fork and just have one instead.

Anyway, we love our Thermos Stainless King 16 Ounce Food Jar with Folding Spoon, Stainless Steel and we highly recommend it.

I told my eldest that this coming new year my goal as a mom is make sure my kids will try something new each day. With gadgets consuming their time, I feel like this is the best time for me to mix both an have them learn, explore and discover. 

So we are starting early and have them get use to the changes. It's interesting coz I see youtube videos and or pinterest post and or online recipe for something and when we try to do it in "real life" it is completely different. I told my kids, sometimes you don't have to believe what you see or hear - sometimes you NEED to do it yourself to find out the validity of it.

REVIEW - Best purchase I made - Love my +Iron Dutch Aebleskiver Pan Cast Iron (Best Iron pan for Takoyaki, Ebelskiver and Pancake pops)

My kids and I love Takoyaki and cake pops (this time I use this pan to make pancake pops) and after spending so much money eating outside just to enjoy our Takoyaki ($10 for 4-5pcs + gas money to go to a 25 miles fave Japanese restaurant of ours) I decided to just buy a pan and see if I can make this on my own.

I was debating if I should get the electric one or a pan but with #VanLife and camping in mind I decided to go to the pan coz it is less stuff to pack and I can bring this when we camp or enjoy a yummy fresh dessert when we have our picnic.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I have to say this is the best $17+ I spent. I bought this July and I have been making Takoyaki and Pancake pops for my kids a few times a week since then (in my opinion that's a lot of savings!). The photo above is my 1st try making Takoyaki, It is very easy to use just make sure you re-season it before you use it (at least that is what I did and I have no problem with burnt Takoyaki and pancakes). 

I know they suggest you buy the "turning tools" but why spend $6+ when you can just use a toothpick to turn your Takoyaki or pancake pops or cake pops or Ebelskiver or whatever you want to use your pan with. Unless you can buy them together and it is not that much then I suggest you go get it :)

I gave this pan 5 stars and I am very sure with its quality I will be using this pan for years to come.
